The Füge-story

Füge is a family business. All this is already reflected in the name of the restaurant since figs are one of the family's favourite fruits. And the fig bushes in the garden try to emphasize the naming.

The beginnings

There used to be a restaurant on the site of the current Füge, where the current owners of Füge were also happy to visit as guests.

One day before we opened, we heard that the restaurant was closing, and that’s when we thought it was a bold move. We didn’t want to be left without a regular place in town. With several interests, entrepreneurship is not far from our personalities, so we decided that we would like to expand our portfolio with a restaurant where we ourselves would feel comfortable to be a guest. In February 2023, our dream came true: Füge restaurant opened in Biatorbágy.

Füge - as a destination

Our restaurant is the perfect destination if you would like to explore the sights of Biatorbágy - visit the Biatorbágy railway viaduct, take in the picturesque view of Nyakas-kő - and then crown the day with a delicious lunch or dinner at the end of the trip. We welcome the residents of Biatorbágy to whom it is especially important to have a unique gastronomic experience any day of the year!

Füge can be a special place for a first date, but its intimate atmosphere is also perfect if you want to celebrate the many, many years spent together with your loved one.

We also heartily recommend it to groups of friends who like to take part in exciting gastronomic adventures, who like to taste special drinks and have a great conversation.

We make the classic Sunday lunch unique when you visit us with your family. Being a familyfriendly place, we also thought about the comfort of small children with baby food, biscuits, cutlery designed for children, toys, and Stokke high chairs.

A business lunch can also help the success of a business meeting. In our restaurant, it is possible to charge phones and laptops with the help of sockets located near the tables, while you can enrich yourself with gastronomic experiences.

Although we are a really pet-friendly team – and the Figs themselves used to be such a place – we have to make a decision because of our negative experience: we cannot accept four-legged pets. Thank you for your understanding.
