The Füge-story
Füge is a true family-run business, where the fig trees flourishing in our garden also symbolise the passion we share. Reborn as a bistro, our aim is to create a welcoming, reliable and dog-friendly gathering place in Biatorbágy, where great flavours and community come together.
The beginnings
A jelenlegi Füge helyén korábban is étterem állt, ahova mi magunk is szívesen ellátogattunk akkoriban vendégként.
Még a nyitásunk előtt, egy napon a törzsvendég páros – azaz mi, Edina és Csaba – arról értesültünk, hogy az étterem bezárja kapuit, és ekkor gondoltunk egy merészet. Nem szerettünk volna törzshely nélkül maradni a városban. Több érdekeltségünk révén a vállalkozó szellem nem áll távol személyiségünktől, így arra az elhatározásra jutottunk, hogy portfóliónkat szívesen bővítenénk egy olyan hellyel, amelybe magunk is jóérzéssel beülnénk vendégként. 2023 februárjában az álmunk valóra vált: megnyitott a Füge Biatorbágyon, amely mára egy szerethető, megújult bisztróként várja vendégeit.

Our restaurant is the perfect destination if you would like to explore the sights of Biatorbágy - visit the Biatorbágy railway viaduct, take in the picturesque view of Nyakas-kő - and then crown the day with a delicious lunch or dinner at the end of the trip. We welcome the residents of Biatorbágy to whom it is especially important to have a unique gastronomic experience any day of the year!
Füge is more than a bistro to us – it is a true passion project for our family. It brings generations together: while we were the ones who first envisioned the restaurant, the energy behind its everyday life and the warm, personal hospitality are now in the hands of our son, Bence, who represents the younger generation as Restaurant Manager.
As a family-run business, we understand how important shared moments are. Whether it is an intimate first date, an anniversary celebrating many happy years together, or a relaxed gathering with friends and family, everyone can feel at home at Füge.
As a family-friendly restaurant, we also make sure our youngest guests are well looked after. High chairs, child-friendly accessories and attentive service help both children and parents enjoy a long, leisurely lunch or dinner.
Something especially close to our hearts is that the renewed Füge is proudly dog-friendly. Your four-legged companions are always welcome, both in our garden and inside the restaurant, because we know they are every bit a part of the family.
